How long are the classes?
Each class is 45 minutes long.
Are there any make-up classes in case of cancellations due to inclement weather?
If there are any cancellations due to inclement weather in the Fall, Spring, or Summer seasons we will make them up by adding a class on at the end of the season. If there are any cancellations for weather during the Winter season, we will not be holding any make up classes. However, you will receive a credit (in the amount of the cancelled class) to your Little Kicks Soccer account, which can be used towards a future registration in the same calendar year.
How much does it cost to sign my child up?
The cost depends on what kind of program you have registered your child for, it also varies slightly depending upon what location and season you sign up for. You can look under our "Class Schedules" to view the cost associated with each individual class.
How many classes are there in a season?
We offer our classes in six and eight week sessions. The length of the class varies depending upon what age group and season you are signed up for.
When does a season begin?
We offer classes year round! Please check under "Class Schedules" to see when the next available session will be starting.
When will I find out if I received my first or second choice?
Class confirmations are sent via email approximately 7 days prior to the class start date.
We will do our best to accommodate all requests for your first class and second class choices, however we cannot guarantee it. Please note that class assignments are based solely upon availability and having enough enrollment in that particular class. If there are either not enough registrations for the requested classes or we cannot accommodate your first or second choice, we will be happy to refund your registration fee 100%. In the event that we are able to accommodate either your first or second choice, we will issue a refund, however there will be a $45 application fee that will be deducted from the total amount you paid when registering.
I am registering with a friend and I would like the children to be in class together, is this possible?
While we do our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee it. All you would need to do is write in the general comments section "If possible would like to be in class with (name of child)." We will certainly try our best to get both children in the same class for you.
Can we get a refund after the start date?
There are no refunds after class has begun.
What should my child wear to class?
Regular sneakers, t-shirt and comfortable pants or shorts. Please note that children may wear cleats and shin guards if they'd like, however, any classes that are held indoors adhere to a strict 'sneaker-only' policy.
What do I need to bring to class?
The only thing we recommend is bringing a water bottle for your child, as we will provide them with a few quick water breaks during class. Other than that, we will provide all of the equipment your child will need. (Including a soccer ball)
Can we bring our payment and registration form to the field?
We do not collect payments on the field. All payments and registrations should be submitted online to Little Kicks Soccer at least two weeks before the start date. If you are late registering, please contact the our office before registering to make certain that there is still space available in the class that you are looking for.
Can we still participate without submitting registration, or payment?
Due to liability purposes, all participants need to be properly registered and submit their payment, in order to be allowed on the field.
How do we know if a class has been cancelled?
If class is cancelled you will be notified via email. In the event of a last minute cancellation we will post the information on our Facebook Page.
How many children should I gather in order to organize a class?
You need at least 8 paid participants to organize your own class.
What's the maximum number of participants?
The number of players is unlimited. We strive to achieve a 10 to 1 student - teacher ratio, however, there may be times when more than 10 kids will be in a class depending on the availability of additional coaches.
What's the minimum age to enroll for the class?
Participants must be at least 18 months old (by the start date of class) in order to register.
Can I still receive a free T-shirt even though I registered late?
Participants will receive a t-shirt as long as supplies last.
Can you prorate the cost of my class if I didn't receive a T-shirt?
T-shirts are complimentary and not included in the class fee.
What if my child does not want to participate after a few classes - can I have a refund?
Unfortunately we do not offer any refunds after class has begun.
What happens if there are not enough kids to hold a class?
We must have a minimum of 8 players to hold a class. Little Kicks Soccer reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. If your child's class is cancelled due to low enrollment we will be able to provide you a full refund, or try to find another class option that works for your schedule.
Do parents need to stay for the class?
Yes! For safety purposes, parents may not leave their child unattended at any time.
What time should my child arrive to class?
We ask that you arrive with your child 10-15 minutes before the scheduled class time so that your child can get comfortable and warmed up before class.
I can only attend our first choice class, however, the computer forces me to choose a second choice as well, am I still able to register?
Even though selecting two choices may help us find a class for you, we certainly understand that due to time constraints you may only be able to make your first choice. After you choose your first choice class, choose ANY class as your second choice and write the following in the general comments field, "Can only attend our first choice". In the event that we are unable to provide you with your first choice, someone from the Little Kicks office will contact you regarding your registration.
